A mainstay for the Matildas, Michelle retired in 2019 citing various injuries. After a year off, she is back in a big way. As one of Canberra United’s most significant signs, Michelle has secured multiple hat-tricks and player of the match recognitions, and most recently surpassed Sam Kerr’s 70 goals scored to set the record as the top goal scorer in the W-League, with a tally of 73 at the close of the 20/21 season.
From her elite talents on the field to breaking down barriers through her personal story of mental health and equality, she is an absolute trailblazer. Michelle is passionate about social causes and bringing awareness to Mental Health, Lung Cancer and the LGBTQ+ Community.
